The Chosen Few

Picture

Mission:

The Chosen Few is a Black led grassroots Drug User Union that builds power and strength among people with limited income and resources affected by the War On Drugs, food apartheid, and homelessness in order to create healthy, safe, and sustainable communities that are led by those who live within them. We achieve this through community organizing, advocacy, direct supportive services, fostering leadership development, and community led research and education. We approach this work with a firm commitment to reducing harm and ending stigmas.

Vision:

The Chosen Few is dedicated to ending the War On Drugs, food apartheid, and homelessness by promoting physical ,emotional, spiritual, intellectual health and wellness for all through transparency, accountability, respectfulness, and community leadership. We work to bring about changes to the systems that negatively impact those in the communities we serve and embody. We are committed to bringing about changes rooted in justice, compassion, empowerment and love.
